Kingfisher and Heron

Kingfisher is intended for anglers targeting the venue’s larger carp and catfish. The fishery reports carp to 28 lb and catfish to more than 80 lb across the complex. Kingfisher has five cabins and six bivvy pegs. Heron is a 20-peg mixed fishery with comfortable, accessible swims and day-ticket sessions.

Tickets and booking

All sessions must be booked in advance by calling 07713 886654. The fishery currently advertises Kingfisher day tickets at £15, 24-hour sessions at £30 per angler and cabins at an additional £25 per 24 hours. Heron day tickets are £12.50, with £10 concessions for OAPs, disabled anglers and children under 10. Confirm availability and current prices before travelling.

Facilities

The official site lists a tackle and bait shop, parking close to the fishery and facilities, an on-site bailiff and optional heated cabins with USB charging. A 3-pin socket is available in cabins for an additional charge.

Key rules

Both lakes require strictly barbless hooks, proof of a valid rod licence and dipping of nets, mats, cradles and weigh slings. No dogs or pets are allowed. Kingfisher and Heron have different equipment, bait and fish-care rules, so read the rules for your chosen lake before visiting.
